communication theory (again)

what difference between skinny jeans and drainpipe jeans?

Skinny jeans taper completely at the bottom of the leg, whereas drainpipe jeans are skinny but then the lower leg is straight instead of tapering and so they are often slightly baggier at the bottom of the leg than skinny jeans.

If you were to ask my opinion though, I think they are basically the same thing. Drainpipe jeans were what they were called before, but now they're called Skinny Jeans perhaps to give it a more modern kick to it, also they made a little alteration as to how they taper at the bottom leg.

Almost Famous (2000)
{ Subculture/Trend: Rocker }

describe the characteristics of that trend found in the movie.

There are characters in this film who have characteristics of a 70s rocker in which the way that they dress resembles musicians from famous 70s heavy metal rock bands such as Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. The fashion pieces include long-sleeve button-up shirts with prints ranging from psychedelic, flowery, plain, or cowboy styled ones paired with flared jeans and a belt. The shirts are usually not fully buttoned, revealing their chest and sometimes tucked in. Hairstyles were long and scruffy and facial hair was almost a must, especially thick mustaches.
